Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Fully field based – 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £45,000 per annum + Benefits  

Location: North East / South East of England 

 

Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturing company, and we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.

 

 

Business Development Manager – Key responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with customers and distributors to support sales growth and customer retention.
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals and customer site visits
  • Manage the sales process and pipeline using CRM systems, prepared customer proposals/quotes and negotiation with clients.
  • Work closely with internal teams to share customer feedback and support business objectives.
  • Monitor performance, maintain regular customer contact and report opportunities and progress to senior management
 

Business Development Manager - Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record of developing new business through cold calling and customer visits
  • Ability to plan and build a strong pipeline whilst meeting deadlines
  • Effective communicator who can build strong relationships with clients
  • Possesses excellent communication skills who stays professional at all times when engaging over the phone or in person
  • Full UK driving license
